Dethklok’s 20 years of hilariously brutal death-metal domination is being celebrated in a new box-set release that brings together new color-vinyl pressings of all four Dethalbums and more, a huggable plushie of guitarist Toki Wartooth’s precious Deaddy Bear.
The Revolver-exclusive Two Decades of Deth Deluxe LP Book package features a remixed and remastered pressing of 2007’s The Dethalbum — “upgraded into a weapon of mass destruction” — as well as new pressings of 2009’s Dethalbum II, 2012’s Dethalbum III and 2023’s Dethalbum IV. Each platter is served up on eye-popping cornetto colorways.
Each album jacket is foiled and comes housed in a matching foiled and numbered heavy-duty slipcase. The box also comes with an enameled coin and includes a 36-page booklet featuring photos, liner notes, and an exclusive interview with Dethklok/Metalocalypse creator Brendon Small. For CD fans, there’s also a scaled-down CD boxset with matching foiled logo and similarly numbered.
In addition, the 20th anniversary celebration includes an exclusive 10” plushie of Toki’s Deaddy Bear — which combines the soft embrace of a thousand dying dreams with the unrelenting force of death metal itself — and the first-ever vinyl pressing of Dethklok’s previously digital-only Army of the Doomstar soundtrack.
